This project concerns the design, calculation, and manufacture of a set of manual press/assembly tools (monteringsverktyg) used to press bearings and seals into a cradle-type housing, referencing ABB robot component numbers (3HAC094934-001, 3HAC094936-001, 3HAC094937-001). The toolset consists of three distinct assembly tool variants (PVL0319-0000, PVL0319-1000, PVL0319-2000), each comprising a custom-machined mandrel (dorn), anvil (mothåll), drawbar (dragstång), and standard fastening hardware. FEA calculations (SolidWorks SimulationXpress) were performed on key components, confirming adequate safety margins: the main disc component in 34CrNi steel shows max von Mises stress of ~450 MPa against a yield limit of 700 MPa (SF 1.4), and the M16 grade 10.9 threaded rod is rated for 12 tonnes with an applied load of 3 tonnes (SF 4). The full order scope includes design, FEA, procurement of machined parts from external suppliers (Finntorpets Mekaniska AB and Sörby Järn & Metall), post-machining surface treatment (black oxidising/svartoxidering), and delivery of three complete tool assemblies plus a revised replacement drawbar. This is a lifting tool (lyftredskap) designed to lift objects with a bolt-circle pattern of Ø110 mm with three threaded M12 holes at 120° spacing — specifically a gear wheel (kugg Z4). The tool features three M12 clamping knobs arranged on a circular plate and a central lifting eye (lyftögla), and is CE-marked in accordance with the EU Machinery Directive 2006/42/EG. The load's centre of gravity must be centred under the lifting eye during use. Lyftplåtarna PVL0484-0001 är prototyp lyftplåtar med högre maxlast, utvecklade för att lyfta FS80-motorer tillsammans med tilthus (ax6) med ABB-robotverktyg. De är avsedda att ersätta de gamla lyftredskapen 3358-02XX som hade problem med överlast vid lyft av motor tillsammans med tilthus. Plåtarna monteras på befintligt verktyg och utvärderas tillsammans med ABB Robotics. PVL0559 is a custom-built drilling machine fixture/station designed for guided, repeatable drilling operations in a manufacturing environment. The assembly consists of a heavy steel weldment base frame with integrated linear rail guides along which a powered drill unit (visible in gold/orange) traverses. The fixture incorporates adjustable clamp/hold-down mechanisms, stop features, and what appears to be pneumatic or hydraulic clamping cylinders to locate and secure the workpiece during drilling. PVL0532 is a manual lifting and turning tool ('lyft och vändredskap') designed for handling a robotic wrist/handled component, bearing ABB article number 3HAC095775-001.
